Boston RFC continued its unbeaten run this season, defeating White Plains by a score of 21-10 to move out to (5-0) in the standings.  No bonus point for Boston this time around though, as White Plains kept the game close throughout.

Boston started the game with a strong wind at their backs. Coach Mike Diamantopoulos remarked later “I thought that wind was worth 21 points”. Also in New York, Old Blue swept the series against the Boston Irish Wolfhounds, but this one was much closer than the first meeting between the sides. 24-10 in Old Blue’s favor was the halftime score, with Old Blue using a dominant scrum to set up a couple of scores.

There was no let down in the intensity on the second half, and Old Blue was to finish the game with 14 players as a result of a red card issued.  The final score was 38-25 in Old Blue’s favor.
