The Free Jacks lost the season opener to the Los Angeles Giltinis over the weekend, falling 42-27 at the Los Angeles Coliseum.

In the second half LA started to put the squeeze on the game, aided by a continuing numbers advantage as the Free Jacks scrumhalf John Poland was red carded for an accidental kick to the head.
